Getting to the cruise port from the Molino Stucky Hilton

Marittima terminals:  If your ship or shuttle bus is departing from the main Marittima cruise basin, you can take the Alilaguna Linea Blu airport boat to Tronchetto (the site of Venice's biggest parking garage). From there, catch the People Mover to Marittima (one stop away).

  • Tip: Alilaguna's routes and schedules vary by season, and they sometimes change without warning, so check the Linea Blu timetable ahead of time. (You might also want to confirm departure times with the hotel's concierge or reception desk.)

Alternatively, you can take a vaporetto, or public water bus, from the nearby Sacco Fisola ACTV stop to Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma and transfer to the People Mover. Consult the reception desk or concierge at the hotel for curent route advice and tickets.

San Basilio terminal: The San Basilio pier is used by small- to mid-size ships and river-cruising vessels. To reach it, take the Hilton Molino Stucky's free shuttle boat across the Giudecca Canal to Zattere (the boat's first stop). As you leave the boat dock, turn left and walk along the waterfront. In about 10 minutes, you'll reach the San Basilio cruise terminal. The walk requires crossing two bridges: One near the Zattere shuttle landing and another just before you reach the cruise pier.

Alternatively, you can spend €60 or so for a five-minute crossing to Marittima or San Basilio by private water taxi. (This is worth considering only if you're infirm, burdened with massive luggage, or traveling with a group.)
