Ca Maria Adele photo

The Ca Maria Adele is a luxury B&B just across a canal from the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute in the sestiere of Dorsoduro, not far from the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. It has 12 rooms and suites, all with king-size beds and free Wi-Fi.

Amenities include a comfortable lounge and a roof terrace where breakfast is served in good weather.

How to reach Ca Maria Adele from the Alilaguna Linea Blu airport-boat stop at Zattere:

Ca Maria Adele map directions

  1. As you leave the boat pontoon at Zattere, turn right and walk along the waterfront. (You'll cross three bridges along the way.)

  2. Keep walking until you see a narrow street called the Calle del Squero on your left. (A wooden restaurant terrace over the water will be on your right.)

  3. Turn left into the Calle del Squero and walk straight ahead. The Ca Maria Adele will be facing you when you reach the end of the street.

From the San Basilio cruise terminal:

  1. Cross the small wooden bridge in front of the cruise terminal's main entrance.

  2. Walk straight ahead along the waterfront promenade. After crossing a stone bridge, you'll pass the Zattere waterbus piers.

  3. Keep walking and follow directions 2 and 3 above.

From the Marittima cruise terminals:

  1. Board the Alilaguna Linea Blu airport boat, which departs from a landing at the base of the "U"-shaped cruise basin, and buy a ticket to Zattere. (It should cost half the price of a ticket to the airport.)

  2. Get off at Zattere and follow the directions above.
